The Beijing fei$hoada happened in two parts on Saturday, June 22nd (2013) during a forum on ‘Independent Theatre in China’ at the Nanluoguxiang Performing Arts Festival, which is put on by the Pengoaren Theatre. fei$hoada #6: As the first part of f${6}, Todd Lester took part in the two-day conference Challenging Place, which sought to examine how the arts challenge the people and place of Derry~Londonderry and other conflict /post-conflict cities around the world, drawing inspiration from international and national practice.  As a city known for its political divisions, Derry~Londonderry is now titled UK City of Culture 2013.  The conference included performances, exhibitions, presentations and discussions open to community leaders, ex-combatants, academics, students, artists of all kinds, and the entire community.  See Derry video!

fei$hoada #6: As the first part of f${6}, Todd Lester took part in the Wander Wonders #1 Symposium on 27 February 2013 in The Hague.  The symposium was put on by the upstart residency initiative Wander, which invited representatives of Lanchonete, HomeBase, and FLACC to come for a week and share what they’ve learned in the residency biz… the week culminated with the Wander Wonders #1 Symposium.
